WARNING, Caution, etc...

Got camera happy yesterday.  Here's an inside look at the machines that make up the shop...

and while not an integral part of the shop, this one did belong to the next door neighbor before closing their doors...
cheers,

rody

Hey Rody,
Great shots of the vintage (and not so vintage) shop equipment. I really appreciate that old stuff. Nice shop-used patina and hand controls. I grew up with that stuff.

Love that old machinery and their logos. Great old contraptions that still do fine work.

We should make a coffee table book. I have a few to add. My Scotchman is old enough to only say Bewo and I have a 1942 Bridgeport that has a slightly different look in the casting. I have a bunch of Walker Turner stuff that has a cool badge. The Wilton vise is always a cool image. The book can be called Cast Iron! I will make an entry to my blog and add my images!

Nice machine macros! Looks like your Bridgeport's power feed could use a lil oil in the gearbox=)
